Some of these comments are so nonsensical. Comedy really. D-mb.
I don't see Cisco making much forward progress in even trying to integrate a company of that magnitude in the small number of months since the acquisition, not to mention being able to conclude it was already in total failure territory.
I didn't bother listening to the conference call, but I would be curious if they reported anything about Splunk's contribution to revenue and earnings given it supposedly generated nearly 1.5B in revenue and over 400M in net income in their last full quarter. If those numbers are sustained they might be covering greater weakness elsewhere in Cisco.
