Don’t bother with the DOJ or FBI, record every incident of harassment; date, time, conversation, individuals involved. Lawyer up and file suit against the individuals involved and leadership. Until the corrupt culture is put on display publicly and it cost the company financially nothing will ever change.

Legal and HR are there to keep the executive safe and protect the image of the company. Going to the company hotline triggers a chain of events that will have legal, your boss and his VP in your office. Documentation lands in your file and careers end... Seen it happen. So much for anonymity.

Legal represents the Company and only the Company. They look out for the Company’s interest only. Some of the worst harassers are in Legal. You’d think they’d be above it all but they’re just humans like the rest of us with the same fallacies.

You can report harassment to HR or even better call the Compliance line, which is managed by Legal. If you think HR is controlling things you are delusional.

Whenever I've seen this reported to HR, the legal team jumps in and looks out for the company's best interest. Letters of reprimand and dismissals are coming.

@3tbn+1vvBy5EM “ It’s known as the most unethical and bottom feeding company…”. Known by whom? What is your source? And don’t say that “everybody knows”. You can state your opinion on anything, but don’t try to make your opinion some type of established unquestionable fact.

HR doesn't control anything on their own. You can get away with complaining in a professional way (phone calls only, no emails please) without getting harmed in any way. Now if management does not like you then you had better watch the complaining.

Just remember who HR works for. They work for the betterment of the company. People who have complained are eventually shown the door. Try not to be collateral damage...

I'm sure your intentions are good, but Oxy isn't going to change from the company it is no matter how many issues are reported. It's known as the most unethical and bottom feeding company for a reason, many many reasons. I reported their dangerous acts and shady behaviors many years ago at Elk Hills and they just bribed and slithered their way out. Their corrosion monitoring program was also a joke and we know what happened with that gas line explosion that put those men in hospital at Elk Hills. Oxy will never change no matter how much accountability you put on them. Of course, anyone who doesn't comply with them is driven out through systemic harassment all endorsed by HR.
