Fly. As in the “insect attracted to tu-d”?
Fly. You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
Erm, safely back below 7 in the new normal. So y’all can GTFO
All you left SoCal slackers and Inmarsat co-mies s@ck
Stock is back above $7. Fly baby Fly
Some more fun with numbers :
VSAT stock price -75% since Jan 1, 2024
VSAT stock price -85% since ISAT acquisition, June 1, 2023
VSAT stock price -90% since 5 years ago on Nov 20, 2019.
Makes all the effort worthwhile, Right?
And depending on how you want to look at it, you could say that 1997 is calling at this stock value. Let me put that another way, the market is erasing THIRTY YEARS of value due to being unconvinced on the future execs are pitching and our market strategies.
Price is dropping faster than I thought it would. It's in the 6s already! We could see $5s by the end of the month, and maybe even $4s by end of year.
In what world is it ok for an executive team to destroy this much value after spending that much capital, and in what world is it ok that the board is inattentive and inactive to it. Make it make sense...
They're still giving themselves bonuses. LOL
From news on acquiring Inmarsat three years ago:
"The deal comprises $850 million in cash, about $3.1 billion in Viasat equity and the assumption of $3.4 billion of net debt."
Now the market cap is $950M.
Ouch!
Ya but I have it on very good authority that understanding ionospheric scintillation was a competitive advantage...
$6s by end of month is very likely. $5s or even $4s is possible by end of year with tax loss selling.
Anther fine Carlsbad morning. Welcome to the new week!
Stock at 7.34. Lowest since October 2002.
Now, get on with your work.
