We have to be together because, as CEO said, “body language”. He said it. Can’t deny it. So, how exactly will the thousands and thousands of workers in ENGINE going to read body language of those of us in Houston? Or… perhaps… the whole better together was a steaming pile of cr-p to support poor real estate decisions?

Questions at the second town hall were much better. Unfortunately, the answers were the same old executive dog and pony show typer answers. There were a lot of great questions that they didn’t even get to. Shame. Why have a town hall if you aren’t going to give some real answers?

MN’s wish-washy answer about hybrid is not fooling anyone. Question from the chat:
If we’re “better when we’re together” why are we pushing more work to offshore service centers? Those sentiments feel at odds.

How comical to have MN lecture us about integrity. Seriously?? SERIOUSLY!!??

Interesting that the video cut out right when the question about 1) How are our results yellow, when it was just publicly reported that we returned a record amount of money to shareholders? 2) Everyone has been working their behinds off and we’re doing really well, but keep getting told we are not … why?

“Benchmarking” strikes again. Too bad our executives are too d-mb and gullible to understand why benchmarks aren’t always worthwhile

I tuned in, not expecting much except to hear how great Chevron is. I lasted less than 3 minutes. Do they have no self respect?

Why did we not do engine during the last transformation? Everybody else did it many years ago and were able to absorb the employee offsets gradually through natural attrition. Now chevron will run to catch up and the offsets will come through lay offs.
Because the elt is incompetent.
Why are our best assets not competitive? Tco (eb), abu, company operated permian? Because our elt is incompetent.
Why can't we execute projects on schedule and on budget? Because project management philosophy and accountability model are flawed. Why? Because our elt is incompetent.
Why is our central overhead so high? Because central groups can't effectively support bu's due to substandard ctc-bu support model (eb). Why is that? Because our elt is incompetent.
Why can't we grow the company organically? Because we cut exploration to the bones. Why is that? Because elt is incompetent.
Now the elt is in panic, they are trying to appear calm, but they will now resort to human primal instinct of beating up the weaker ones (employees) instead of being true leaders and leading us out of this mess they created. But they won't do it, will they? Mw and EB already said we need to work harder. MN is obsessed with office attendance. They tell us they are doing great, the strategy is sound... no it is not, MW, EB and MN need to go. We need real leaders from outside of cvx.

What a waste of time. Mistakes, so? Who pays for their mistakes? Not them for sure. I wonder how any people were involved to prep this useless session

That townhall was a waste of time and a whole lot of fluff that didn’t really tell us anything. Delivering info we all already know which could have been an email. Wonder how much time they wasted trying to prepare for this. I feel sad about what has happened to this company, its direction and leadership.

Did MN openly say he regrets buying REG? Did I misinterpret that?

by

Post ID: @twc+1vudtKGw

Did MN just admit he got swindled on two deals? Swapping Permian assets for CBU back in the day and bad timing on the REG deal. Yikes.

They (MN and BK) mentioned “I take accountability for…” but I do not think they actually know what it means to take accountability.

No major announcements like upcoming ROMs are made during townhalls. It will come via email, probably the first week in Dec. :(

why do they keep saying 0 prod in Colorado a few years ago. Cvx built Rangely. Just bc we don’t own it anymore doesn’t mean it didn’t exist. BN was literally VP of the BU that operated the assets. Short term memory issues?
