Employee Advisory Council (EAC): Useful?

Has any org seen any actions come out of the Employee Advisory Council (EAC) that was formed to "give voice" to employees after the mass layoffs and RTO?

Does your EAC representative even ask you for input? Do they give any updates out of their monthly meetings?

The Employee Advisory Council (EAC) is garbage. There's only one non Manager/Sr. Manager/Director on it. There was no process to volunteer or be nominated for it. They just announced it and then a few weeks later announced who was apart of it. Just garbage.

EAC is as valuable as a bottomless suggestion box over an incinerator.

just another way the appease the Board of stooges - and the higher ups - they truly don't expect anything to come out of this council and if there are ideas they will be shot down - schwab manages by consensus from the top down

It’s just an optics play. Rick and Walt don’t want feedback from junior level employees. Look at how they respond to Glint…what makes the feedback from a handful of sympathetic managers and directors any better?

It was rigged from the beginning. How come none of us got a chance to apply or be part of it? They already had the brown nosers they wanted picked before it was announced
