Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

ATTENTION managers!

After so many safety blitzes, conference calls, critical rules reviews, etc and managers are still asking why are accidents / incidents still happening? After all the layoffs and reduction in head count, all levels of management continue to increase the amount of tasks, checklists, questions to ask, paperwork to fill out etc BEFORE performing any tasks. You guys are decreasing the amount of available time to get work done while simultaneously increasing the complexity and therefore the time needed to accomplish the same amount of production. Either decrease the amount of tasks to be done or increase the amount of employees so that everything is accomplished with all employees working at a safe sustainable pace. Sadly I fully expect not one manager will acknowledge this fact that has been clearly stated for you.

Stop, you have to stop being combative. Now, we all know these people can barely read and write!!! These people are cutting checks left and right for discrimination, and people being hurt. I don't know who their shareholders are, are what pensions that have invested but trust and believe it's about to go down. God can't even save this company, they have hired and fired so many people they have to pay a retention bonus to get people to apply. There is nothing complicated about any of this except paperwork, shuffling around paperwork to them means work is being done. They get in their little boy scout huddle, as if they are intimidating someone when they have online college degrees, like these people are literally reading and writing at the 4th grade level making multi-million-dollar decisions. We have to stop and let them play railroad. Just stop and let them play conductor on the railroad. Let them do the job, they can't move trains, they build the trains wrong, they don't understand rules, agreements, and regulations, leave this people alone. If you want results, start paying of your debts, your trucks, cars, houses, pay them off, stop using credit get out of debt because even if God opened up the sky God himself would pass this company by, Satan could take this to the pits of he-l, and Satan himself, would give this company back, nobody wants this job, nobody wants this company, we all know the secret to the stock and with the new Trump Administration in, this is about to be the number one Short Line Railroad, wait for it watch wait and see. For years and years people would say I was born for this, whaaaaaaaaaaaat!!! For years and years UP just wants to run freight and outsource switching, whaaaaaaaaaaaaat. They can't even get a company to do the switching work, so the executives run and start up some LLC to do the switching then when it fails, we are back switching. We have to stop giving these people credit, credit for what, what are they doing that deserves credit. Stop being mad at these people for their confusion, use them up, use them to get healthy, use them to pay off your debt, use them to better yourself, nobody enjoys working here. We all know it's on fire, so let it burn, stop and let it burn, don't help them make it better, they have managers with online degrees for that. This company is beyond repairable, so leave them alone and let them complete the mission. You have to literally stop and consider the mindset of these people, think about it "SAFETY BLITZ" how often does the fire department, the police force, even elementary schools do a safety blitz? We are grown adults, and they are still acting and responding like 4th graders, leave these people alone. Courage to care whaaaaaaat!!!! are you serious whaaaaaaaat. Leave this people alone, just do the work and go home, if you get your finances and health in order the sooner you can get out of here. Remember guys, when your upset, when they are testing, when they are talking to use always remember your dealing with someone with a 4th grade education, that can barely read and write, with an online degree. Daycares don't even have a safety blitz, hospitals don't have a safety blitz, this is what they want give them what they want, stop complaining, are you smarter than a 4th grader, do we argue with our kids at home, do we go back and forth with 4th graders NO, NO WE DO NOT. When you see them on the yard, just mumble to yourself 4th grader, when you hear them on the conference call just mumble to yourself 4th grader, when you see them on the elevator remember 4th grader. You are employed for a company that is ran by 4th graders, you're not the problem they are. Folks, I'm about to retire, it's been great, it's been hard, it's been challenging, I stared 41 years ago, and these people are still having the same conversations they had 41 years ago nothing has changed.
