You don't have coworkers at Intel, you have adversaries. It's all a game. They're just waiting for the perfect moment to fu-k you over. They’ll pretend to be on your side, get you to let your guard down, and then stab you in the back. No one here is really looking out for you. Watch your back.

I have never experienced this at Intel but perhaps I’m just fortunate.
Just follow company policy and play defense instead of making the problem worse. You can get a lot of benefits if people trust you but view you as someone not to take advantage of. However, I do have a pet peeve with people who continue to give “inform” presentations to increase visibility. All those forums need to be shut down so we can focus on execution.
I will let you in on a secret. This is not exclusive to Intel. Just up your game and don't think of coworkers as your friends.

Yup. And truth is I m guilty of it too. Fu-k you all as long as I get mine. And those who disagree are lying. Everyone is doing this at the current Intel work environment

Competition inside is tougher than the one outside in my experience. (Yes, unlike what the leaders say, competition is actually INSIDE Intel!)
There is a saying I heard at Intel. It goes... the kn--e is so sharp, you don't even feel it going into your back. Truth.
