What are your thoughts about potential Xerox layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

It says all you need to know about working for this place anymore that the best you can hope for as a Christmas bonus in many cases is a layoff with decent severance to find a better job. If you’re in the “untouchables” club here good for you-here’s your cookie! For everyone else it’s a total dumpster fire every day. You can work till you drop to do 3 other jobs once they lay off your co-workers. There’s absolutely zero incentive to do so too. All you’ll receive in return is another 3 workloads to handle. My one and only New Year’s resolution in 2025 is to bail off this sinking ship. I suggest anyone capable and talented do the same.
A.I. takeover. How do you know if talking with real person from C.E.C.?
XBS operations is not done yet with layoffs, there are management changes coming in December.
LOL to whomever said:
"LOL, whomever said "Tariffs are awesome and will create domestic manufacturing jobs.""
"Can someone explain how Xerox saves money rebadging employees at same pay rate? Are they saving on benefits, 401k match or down the line severance?"
The rebadged employee is eventually replaced with a lower compensated offshore. Also match, benefits and severance are saved. Labor as a commodity.

Yes. Xerox is unloading all salaries, benefits, etc. to HCL. When you're rebadged, you are now legally working for another company.

If the tariffs are imposed, Xerox will be unable to continue in the print market as the majority of the products are imported. While some industries may end up moving some manufacturing back on shore, it's very expensive to do so and will take years. With the print market continuing to slide, this isn't likely to happen and it will just escalate the decline.
There won't be any Xerox in 2-3 years if tariffs are created.
Xerox doing what they do best Consistently laying off these past 30 plus years ..
"Xerox needs to bring back jobs to US and terminate HCL."
They cannot afford to. Why do you think they moved jobs in the first place? No cash...
Xerox needs to bring back jobs to US and terminate HCL.
Re-Invention will continue thru 2025
The opportunity for layoffs at xerox is outstanding. This might be one of the worst run companies ever.
