Comparing Oxy to the majors since July, Oxy has fallen but the others have stayed flat or increased. Anyone else think this is due to CR deal? Layoffs or notices of layoffs will surely take place by the end of the year.
Had a previous posted taken off the board for saying similar things. Big brother Oxy probably had a hand in it for a reason....
Shareholders may take the offer price given the stock has does nothing but lose value. Think WB is in the business of losing money? Oxy isn't worth saving as a whole but select assets might. Going to be a cold winter....
It is what they call a mini-tender offer for 2% of the shares. If it works they turn around and flip the stock for a profit. I don't see that this is anything to worry about. They are doing the same to South Bow Corp.
