From 1 to 10. And be honest.

Since I left MDT a few months ago… my last 2 years at MDT I was at 2 and only because of good colleagues.

Don’t mind the work but the ever present lurking layoff really wears on you.

Couldn’t be happier to be leaving soon while the going was good from Danvers. Poor management, code of conduct is not followed, manufacturing and equipment costs are hidden and misplaced into fat funded projects and patient best interest are not the number one consideration.

These id--ts that think you can just will your way into changing a group that has hundreds of people. Make your own destiny blah blah. That BS is for toddlers. Even smart toddlers know it's BS. Situation is everything when it comes to job satisfaction and you can't control any of it unless you leave. You can only control what you have authority and time to control. Destiny blah blah. Grow up and become an adult. Fairy tale time is over.

I'd say a 4 right now for me. Very little growth, lack of management, lack of resources on critical functions. Silo mentality and selfish people who only care about their own metrics run amok.

4, it's a dead-end job, I cannot take the majority of my experience at Medtronic and apply it outside the medical device industry.

It’s a 12 for me. Mother Medtronic has been very good to me personally. She made me financially independent, future bright. You make your own destiny, ya ph--ken twits

8, my global team is great and we all help each other out if needed

@euj+1voGsKJZ is why Medtronic su-ks now. Too many people, too comfortable, for too long, just hanging on for a paycheck until they retire... not willing to innovate, go above or beyond in effort, ever. Too much deadweight at Medtronic, especially in MN.

I would say 8. I make my own destiny. I am afforded that opportunity because I take calculated risks and I make sure my successes are shared with the team that helped make them happen.

A 2. I’m not happy overall but I have a good team and like what I’m doing most of the time. The general culture here is abysmal. Hoping to hang on until I choose to retire within the next 4 years.

7-8. Score is high because I like my manager, things could be different in other teams here
