What’s your experience with job search? When I first heard about layoffs potentially happening at this time, I started looking for another job just to make sure I have other options. It has been discouraging, frankly. Now that I was laid off, I’m beginning to panic a bit. Did any of you have a positive experience? Share, please, if you had, because we all need some inspiration.

Hello, yes. I ended up leaving as well but I had basically all of my success looking on linked in. As I began to fill out more and more applications, linked in knew more less what I was looking for and began to send me jobs daily.
It is a numbers game so you do have to dedicate the time like a part time job between searching and interviewing. I ended up landing something that paid me way better too! Best of luck to you!
My best advice is to reconnect with old contacts on LinkedIn. As I understand it, there is an age factor, and companies want you to be recommended in, as opposed to a cold open.
