They were surely not strict. Betting on some company to deliver strategically important sustainable production without deep dive into the company's capacity, health, human capital, setup, and first and foremost leadership competence, reeks of amateur hour. One would think that some decision-makers, when the situation is dire and requires seriousness of the highest order, would recognize the distinction between perfumed sh-t and the real stuff. I guess we live in times when everyone is drinking their own kool-aid.
