Operational Management Layoffs

Why don't UPS offer older operational management buyout packages? My wife seems to think UPS top management hopes that they die first. Since they are downsizing management anyway

True is UPS values their dedication, experience, and knowledge. Why would they want them to leave?

Because ops management is the easiest to manipulate. They will literally sacrifice their families to work 60+ hours on salary. UPS will toss them to the side when they are done squeezing every last drop of productivity out of them.

You are right UPS could care less about it's older operational employees. UPS continues to give younger employees buyout offers. These older operational management employees need to go out on disability and get those knees and hips replaced

It is not as easy to outsource positions in the operations as it is with HR, IE, Finance, Accounting, and Sales. UPS would rather make these older ops people so miserable that they quit and replace them with younger/cheaper labor.
