Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Serbia?? Did anyone get layed off? Or is there more work now than before?

Are Voyix and Atleos still cooperating and cohabitating in Serbia? In Canada at least both companies have cut the umbilical cord, and not talking to each other. Completely seperate, no shared space or anything. Not sure about the rest of the world. From what I have heard, both companies are still living in Sin in Serbia, su-kling from the same T-t.

The total size of the tech industry in Serbia is around $500 million, while the total size of the tech industry in India is $250 billion.

You pay for bricks, you get bricks.

I don't know if India is more expensive than Serbia/Bosnia when it comes to this working environment, but the last time I've checked, their average salary is way lower than in Serbia etc and I can tell you from first hand experience - most of the positions here are underpaid and people are leaving.
I guess that's how you end up with d-mb as bricks agents.

FYI. I worked with a Bosnian with good American accents for a Radiant call. There are other options available like Poland and Bosnia.

Quite confrontational that the world is larger then the US right? Travel a bit more that might open your knowledge of cultures. Nothing wrong with Serbian people.

Getting replace by India???? India is more expensive than Serbia so it would work the other way around.

Most of the support and operations people (PMs) I have work with from Serbia are d-mb as bricks with really id--tic accents.

Seems like they spend all their time on clicking teams profile pics (poor job at that) instead of being useful

I haven't heard about any cuts between Voyix and Atleos in Serbia.

When it comes to layoffs, no one is getting laid off here but... I predict same thing could happen to us - getting replaced with India or something like that.

These mass layoffs in US are resonating louder than you might think and some of us that are more worried of the whole situation are worried about the future.
