Under Chambers one of his executives said outright in a company wide all hands that they wanted the average age of an engineer to be 25. It turns out when you're offering jobs to maintain 40 year old COBOL you're not going to be attracting young people.
AI aka Anonymous Indian is taking all of the US and European tech and most office jobs.
In 5 years most tech jobs will be offshored so this jobs report is just the first of many that will show net losses.

- tend to be older
- outdated/unwanted skills
- bad reputation employer as their top resume line
- high chance of being a forever renter
if this is you, you should be saving as much as possible NOW
Shouldn't it be the opposite? Bad job market hopefully not add more to unemployment
