Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Belk return policies.

As an associate that tries to do the right thing I am pretty aggravated this week. Belk puts forth the policies for returns but does not stand behind you when you try to enforce them. Which makes it hard when you have to put up with threats from the customer and unwarranted calls to corporate about you. And what's worse is that by giving in to the aggressitive, rude customers it makes it worse for the store because everybody thinks that all they do is threaten and yell just to get a discount or replacement. Our area is an economically challenged area and word gets around. I am now questioning whether or not I want to continue employment with Belk.
