Gave my notice on Monday. Decided not to wait to be laid off. I finally feel free. To tie one’s work and prospects to a company that has an uncertain future, has become a daily drama show, has presented us with constant threat of layoffs and chaos at the workplace, is not good for one’s health and wellbeing. I don’t know how my new job will work out, but at this point leaving Intel was the most important thing. Good luck to all of you. If you decide to ride through bad times with Intel, or are not laid off, try at least not to let the chaos get to you.

@1cl You get nothing, normal resignation process. Practically, impossible to time both new role and separation package. I find myself in similar situation.
I may be also abandoning unused sabbatical. Don't know if they'll pay me for that on the way out. Think it's all forfeited with self initiated resignation. But sometimes it's easier just to walk away and pour your soul into something new.
Do they give you the same package or nothing if you decide to leave after ISP?
Congrats! How did you find the job? I've been searching for a while.
The attrition rate will be interesting next year.
I am in the same boat. I am completely burnt out from this. This is not worth it.
I made it through the ISP but decided to exit in Q1 regardless. So that is the new plan. Congrats.
Congratulations! You probably just added years to your life by dumping this stress. Good luck!
We are poorer without you
Congrats
