Former Designer Says General Motors Firing Was Retaliatory

General Motors LLC is facing a new lawsuit in federal court from a former employee alleging gender discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII and Michigan law.

Judy Kim, a former designer at GM, alleges that after she complained about harassment from a coworker, she faced retaliation from coworkers who were friends with the harasser. Kim was excluded from meetings, given dirty looks, and was told there was a waiting list for a transfer—to a GM design studio in California—that she had been interested in pursuing, her complaint.

That's how they do it at GM all the time. I have seen so many instances of gangs retaliating for reporting concerns in good faith, without report resolutions, that nobody believes in the GM non-retaliation policy anymore. The entire leadership chain must bear responsibility for each occurence. GM likes this abusive culture because it can continue canibalizing itself beyond already lost, in the last several years, 2/3 of the company employees to release great financial figures, celebrate, and tell employees not to pay attention to poor stock performance.

The only way to avoid a large of law suits is eliminating all of the managers and above ASAP because they are the roots of gang members.

Depends on who wins.

A lot of laws can go away or just not be enforced

Retribution is coming. More law suits after the election. Justice may be late, but it will never be absent.
