Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Frustrating, to say the least

Those of us with real skills and experience are seriously undervalued and underpaid. Meanwhile, the clueless folks - especially managers, if we can even call them that - who come to us for help are pulling in big salaries without knowing a thing. It's no wonder people are leaving left and right!

The management has been blind sided by Accenture. You cannot do anything about it. One side the employees who have come from MetLife are laying off talented people and bringing their own friends from MetLife. This is happening in corebridge. That day is not near one of the MetLife guy will become the CEO replacing KH.

Yeah there are managers and certain CFOs who don’t have a clue what they are doing. A report just came out from Wall St that we are expected to be down almost 41% YOY what a disgrace and we layoff all the actually talent.

Nothing new here. I am not saying it's right, but the worker bees have always been undervalued and underpaid. Management is playing a different game, if f you can't beat'em, join'em.

thanks to the consultants they have come to believe that people are only a cost and that the business can be run with algorithms and numbers. The more the business go bad the more they cut people sure that without "waste" the enterprise will run smoother.
