I got on my own terms years ago, but still have many friends at Xerox who just need a few more years. It's easier to just hang out and coast to retirement than to jump ship and start over again for just a few years.
For everybody still there for whatever personal reason, I wish you all the best. Today's earnings aren't good, and I hope it doesn't translate to even more reductions.
I left Xerox 3 years ago and it was the best thing ever after 15 years. I now make a decent salary (basically what I should be making after having no costs of living increases or raises for 1/2 the years I worked at xerox). I no longer have to do the jobs of 4 people and I go home happy every day.
