Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Signing off

My last day of work for Gainwell is on Friday 11-1. I won’t be delivering any layoff news after that date.

Based on my current knowledge layoffs will ramp up toward the end of this year around the holidays. Expect a significant increase in layoffs around the holidays or just before.

Good luck to all who choose to stay.

It is very difficult to go into work everyday and act in good faith, knowing there will be those that sc--w with you for the pure enjoyment, to advance themselves or whatever devious reason there may be.

The last town hall was nothing more than a dog and pony show. Watching all the speaker's eyes dart back and forth constantly as they merely read what was given to them to say. It gave that feeling of someone else being off-screen, threatening them if they didn't read the script perfectly. Did we have a hostage situation at Corporate and we just didn't know about it? (hahaha)

No one in this company does anything, it's a giant scam to steal from the States

ITO does nothing. They have a group chat of 500 people posting bullsh|t instead of working

I do not do gray areas and measure things in terms of good and evil, right and wrong. That includes the reasons or motivations behind a person's actions or decision making.

I abhor to the degree of evil that occurs within this company on a daily basis. Whether it be telling half-truths, participating in deceptive practices or the constant mind games, gas-lighting, etc. It's like a contagious disease that has metastasized throughout the organizational structure of the ITO group. It begins with management and trickles downward to the lower tiers to the point where bad/evil behavior is the norm and widely excepted by those who want to fit in.

Unethical is the Gainwell way.

Your manager was probably hired for that reason. And he was probably taught how to be unethical.

Illegal and unethical is how they do business. It is quite amazing that it continues to go on unchecked.

I think my manager has blackballed our whole department to any other areas under the ITO umbrella. Don't know if that is illegal, but definitely unethical. But he's not known for being ethical and wouldn't know the truth if it ran over him (multiple times)

Good for you Zen for getting out.

Based on your contributions to this forum I would guess that you are some sort of leader that is privy to lots of information within Gainwell. Based on that assumption I would guess it wasn’t easy to find a comparable replacement position with the same salary.

I am personally happy for you and hope others take note and do something better for themselves.

Thank you for all of your information and insight into all of the layoff and turmoil that is constant in Gainwell.

I would wish you good luck but I don’t think you will need it. I’m sure you will be even more successful away from Gainwell.

NTT is acquiring nearly 300 ITO employees. It’s not a rumor. It’s called project Daytona and will be announced before Thanksgiving.

RE NTT- the company is moving the data centers from the DXC Orlando Datacenter to NTT - I don’t know if that correlates to ITO job loss

Thank you Zen, vaya con dios! Gainwell truly turned out to be a huge disappointment. Good luck to those who remain, unless you are part of the leadership vacuum. Those people are beyond hope.
