Working with Indians as a non Indian is an absolute nightmare. They cling together like a cluster and only have each other’s back, only hire each other, and the culture gap is too big even if they have been in the US for decades. Never again.

New admin will likely make many changes that will impact Cisco (which is why Fran had her 'wait and see' comment), such as:

• More difficult/cost prohibitive to hire H1B, which is probably why Cisco and other companies are trying to do more now before the opportunity closes, likely accepting the estimated cost of settling a few lawsuits
• Tariffs for hw manufactured outside the US - that new India plant may have to be reconsidered. Cisco's margins may take a hit in the short term.
• Federal contractors will be required to eliminate DEI and similar programs, and Cisco is absolutely considered a federal contractor.
• DOGE may also influence Exec branch agencies to go in a different direction entirely with future Fed gov't purchases.
