Traits of some of the mediocre manager at Cisco
- Use and throw engineers, use as much as you can
- Stick to the company like Oil, work so that upper management can't lay them off.
- Don't let engineers grow under them, they don't leave the company and they won't grow the team and engineers
- Thet will never apply outside due to the fear that they can be suppressed easily. They are in bad terms with many people.
Many engineers left Cisco and joined Amazon, Google, Netflix and got good growth. These managers can't work with them there and sticking to Cisco like an Oil.
