Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

The company is a disaster right now

High performer here who has been through other layoffs here and I am as down as you get around here. Its absolutely miserable working here and it's ELT's fault for the way this place has become. I don't know a single person who isn't stressed and down including in management. It's a train wreck, dumpster fire all in one. People can act like people are being babies but those people are out of touch and probably not overly good people. The company is a disaster right now and until ELT is fired it will continue to be this way.

Pretty much this, @gps+1vV5EY5V.

Quite a few resignations the last two weeks. Including very high performers. I know this is what MW wants but eeesh it is going to get way worse around here, which is hard to believe.

Zero accountability at an LT lvl. Poor decisions that are made, linger, and either never rolled back or rolled back too late. And then the grunts are told they need to execute better.

Les said we have a culture and decision making problem, I hope we see that

I totally agree. They want all these high goals to be met by Q2 but they’ve just announced a huge reorg and no one wants to do anything until reorg is over. They drag out things absurdly

Also we all know it’s the executives who got us into this mess and none of them are being held accountable.

It’s become a total joke
