Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Cargill CSST India --- Rampant frauds and personal reimbursements

I wanted to share some insights on "Ways of working" for Cargill CSST India wherein its normal and encouraged to throw a personal party with friends and family and claim it as a "Official expense" or "Meal with customer" (wink -wink). Its normal to claim for personal airfare and luxurious hotel stays as customer visits.
Icing on the cake was Son of Regional director gets married and entire leadership team travels 2,000Kms to attend the function with all of them claiming both lodging and airfare as a business expense in lieu of "Market Visit".
While you fired none of these immoral individuals were affected. So enjoy!!!!

India leadership is a pathetic. One the fastest growing major economies in the world but Cargill has only managed frauds and corruption. Sad to see even regional director are involved. Sad state for a organization which boasts doing the right thing.

Hahaha Ethics Line? What a fkn joke. What ethics? Hiring illegals to work at meat plants, nowhere near the same safety culture in foreign countries cause those lives don’t matter as much, carbon footprint the size of Uranus, promote based on ethnicity, s-xual preference or gender rather than merit and work ethic. Not sure if this company has less morals or ethics.

All managers are now talking about moving teams to India because it's cost-effective. It's sad to hear that employees in India have been on salary freezes for a while. It's not just that they are cheaper; they want to treat them as cheaply as possible. So, I'm not surprised that they are as angry as employees in other countries due to greedy policies, along with those visits that do nothing for employees. And it's funny they think that visiting offices will improve morale, but it’s just another example of their disconnection from employees.

IT leadership in India is catastrophic, but they are excellent talkers, which is exactly what the company deserves, especially now that they think putting ERP in everything will fix all their technology needs (super innovative). They assume the quality of cheap labor will match that of other countries, but they are completely wrong. I have been working with IT teams in India for a while, and I simply don't care anymore. I’ve come to expect that I’ll get 10 consultants who don’t know what to do and have to wait a week for something to be halfway resolved.
