Where was I? it's a new year.

@1hiv+1vTa4Gvy damn bruv thats brutal
I’m in IT and thinking that some of my skills and knowledge of the industry are decently marketable since there are plenty of smaller firms if people are willing to look beyond the FAANG companies. Reached out to a former senior leader who left awhile ago to do other things, just to get some advice, but was basically told that Chevron pays too well for the type of work we actually do. I wasn’t even looking for a job from the guy, but damn, I got more depressed after that, I dont want to work here but there aren’t many options for me.
lazy people wait to be told what to do, smart ones just do it when they see an opportunity.
Disagree on waiting for CIP and severance. And Chevron doesn’t pay better than other companies.
Wait for the cip and eoi before jumping . Expect to get 10-20% less on total comp compared to chevron golden handcuffs
Yes but not on my work computer
Yup. All the townhalls have told us to “take time to de-stress” and “focus on activities that you enjoy”… for me that just happens to be applying for jobs (;
