They deplete the workforce and then except the ones who are still there to do their job and the jobs of the people let go, but with no extra compensation!!!

I was also one of the ones let go today, was working for 5 years as an engineer
Not sure how many got let go today but personally know approx 10 people who got hit in Greensboro. Guessing they are getting the typical severance package of 2 weeks + 1 week per year of service. Have not heard anything regarding voluntary layoffs.

No, I was let go today after 9 years with Qorvo. HR said they will pay until Jan 15th. No option of voluntary retirement.
I wonder if there are any voluntary separation packages? They are making cuts. Haven't heard about any voluntary separation packages offered.
Heard GSO IT layoffs started today. Few people were already notified. There may not be voluntary retirement option any more.
