You'd think SR learned its lesson in 2020. Juicy EOI then led to mass exodus of talent. Not only Boomers but mid-career people who used the severance money to buy them time (pun intended) to comfortably find themselves another job. I predict EOI this time will be leaner, just enough to push the remaining retirement-eligible people out the door. They have a target, the EOI will be structured to meet that target.
few years back they made it 3 paychecks per year... hope they do that this time and a mass exodus of people will take it... especially in California (EOI FTW)
So one paycheck a year?
The standard in the past has been 2 weeks for each year of service. I’ll happily take that
If they offer a year severance, I’d jump to the front of the line. But alas, never gonna happen. Standard is 2-3 weeks per year of service, perhaps with prorated bonuses.
Those 3 letters were all I needed to hear.
I'm sure he had to say something about EOI because of what's on SEC filing
Anyone have an educated guess on the severance theyll offer? Im guessing 1 years pay. But they apparently offered 2 years when they merged with texaco.
You Fired McFly.
Californians can finally get the EOI they have all been asking for so they don’t have to move to Texas.
Issuing a bunch of empty words full of we don’t know yet isn’t an example of good communication. Definitely not worth a 5.5 minute video
No specific details given… in the words of Rihanna “don’t let tha bastads get you down”
I haven't seen the video yet. Did they say where the layoffs will be and when?
Don't worry MW will still get his $20M bonus
What are the odds severance is juicy at 3x vs standard 2x? Pretty much confirmation of 0.75 CIP LOLZ
I'm sure it'll sound like PollyAnna, but this kind of announcement coming BEFORE Christmas is very helpful in making plans for how much I might want to spend on the holiday gifts and travel. I appreciate the timing.
Lite on specifics. Where is that 20-30% mentioned in earlier posts? EOI is a good move.
The grinch.
