Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Low pay raises = part of the plan to make you resign

It’s a very clear message that EM want people to resign within HC10. Work conditions are significantly worsening since DWW. Very low salary or no salary increases, significantly reduce benefits, constant threat of PIPs, no stability, constant change, means EM is a toxic environment.

DWW clearly thinks Upstreamers are d-mb and wants to destroy US to show b di-k energy for the downstreamers but in doing so, significantly hurting our long term future.

US has been sc--wing the pooch for way too long.

There should have been salary parity in the past between Chem, US, DS, and MS.

Now instead of bringing everyone else up, they are bring US down.

I got one of these 0 percent raises. They fu-k ed up because I am nre. All this does is sets my work effort to zero just like my raise. I do feel like I am being set up to fail. This just moved my retirement date up. Fck um

Upstream, CL28, Good, 1.6% Don't expect much more between now and retirement. Just give me a package and send me on my way.

Downstream people MAY have taken over upstream, but downstream now has to try and follow your practices and systems, most of which aren't applicable to the downstream.

Typical new Exxon approach... The worst of the worst.

The wholesale elimination of upstream technical expertise in favor of downstream SMEs was a travesty. Im guessing DW wanted to keep those on the lower downstream pay curve
