Scher creating an office in New York, former CIO Opal opening a Technology office in Chicago, current CIO Tim opening a Technology office in Denver, Asian Product team on west coast, current CEO Gil putting on events at his wife's brewery. Definitely not all HQ moving to Atlanta. They are going to open up an office there and focus mostly on Finance. Job postings will say Estero or Atlanta.
Same rationale as other leaders stating that quality of candidate pool will be greater in Atlanta than SW Florida. Opal did this with IT using that rationale to open up Bannockburn in Chicago. Same for Tim in Denver, etc. You obviously listen to the rumor mill, but don't have the connections with the right people to get the full story.
Is this the whole of finance or just a satellite office? My info says corporate HQ is relocating In entirety and locations are being scouted. I work at corporate and this is what we’ve heard. Can you give more detail?
The Senior leadership team working hard to do nothing and fill their pockets! They no longer care about how it looks and possible ethics they are now blatantly just flaunting it. So basically the hope is the current team all has to quit since they will not relocate to Atlanta then the SFO will hire all their buddies in Atlanta. Funny isn't Delta also home based in Atlanta?
