Thread regarding UPS layoffs

How is this a good time to announce layoffs?

Please, someone explain this to me like I’m a three-year-old. This is our busiest season by far. We’re desperate for more people, and in the middle of all that, leadership decides to let more go? What’s the reasoning behind this decision? Can anyone figure it out?

Your CEO only cares about 2 things, the current stock price and her woke agenda. That's all. She doesn't care about how the company is doing a year from now, 2 years from now, taking care of employees and their families, creating a great place to work, etc. She cares about how much the stock price is on whatever the given day is, and she cares about furthering a woke agenda. That is all.

Who was let go in the latest round? When I was let go in September, it was implied that there would be one more round of layoffs by the end of the year, but I have not heard of any.

'Leadership' is the CEO, and we already know how she operates.

It is not about making sense it is only about keeping the investor happy for that moment so the money flows.
