Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Morale is down the toilet

It’s been taking too long. Why do we have to pay the price of incompetence at the top?

Morale super-low. Work has slowed to a drip for my team over the past month. Nothing left to do but wait till next

I know it's easier said than done but hopefully everyone is taking some time this Thanksgiving to relax, forget about work for a little while, and enjoy time with family and friends. Remember that this is just a job. Cargill is not your family. Whatever is going to happen will happen. Don't put Cargill first this weekend.

It’s sad to think about the anxiety this is causing thousands of people this holiday weekend. Executives are happily gathered around the dining table in their lake mansions while everyone else must worry about their futures. No way to enjoy the holiday or relax when you have to think about what lies ahead.

Several credible sources (directly involved in org design and talent) in my network have confirmed next week. I don’t think we should expect it all but next week the largest majority (at least MSC, formerly BOSC) of employees will know. No details other than more news next week. In general, if they want to hit the $400m commitment this year and $1b overall, they are gonna need to start executing SOON.

Why is everyone saying we will have news next week? Is it only a rumor? They didn't confirm that, right?

Cr-ppy thing is when they don't hit their ungodly unachievable numbers they are targeting for this FY, it's only going to be worse next year for those that make it
