Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

There is a Chief Financial Officer and a Chief Revenue Officer....

But no Chief Quality Officer

Quite telling and distribing

F5 at best pays lip service to quality.

Quality is of no importance to F5 so no need to spend money on an exec for that position. Buggy software makes more revenue as F5 can sell Support Contracts

There is even a Chief AI Officer! Not intelligent. And, unfortunately, real, not artificial!

i’ve no clue what the quality is like in F5 today, I’ve been away for a while. However, I know some very big customers were impressed with the original BIG-IP after a lot of improvements a few years ago. I hope that hasn’t regressed

I maybe wrong but I’m only aware of Healthcare industries with CQOs. I can’t think of one tech company with such a position. I understand BIGIP has a Quality Architect.

Quality socks so a CQO isn't needed
