Has anyone received unemployment benefits after 6 months of being unemployed?

We are undergoing white collar recession. That’s the reason unemployment is only 4.1% as lower wages can hold on to their jobs, while high wagers don’t make a dent on stats.
In Texas, it’s only for six months, and then one has to wait for another six months before becoming eligible. Do different states have different policies, any place more than six months? After Covid, unemployment was available for extended periods I believe. No such luck anymore…. Hope those seeking employment have good savings.
