@2fah Younger employees, just like h1b, are cheaper.
That's the main motivation to bring them in, and get rid of other employees not in those categories.
I just took a sh-t, based on the watery texture, this is true.
that kind of money buys you a one way ticket to he-l and means 0 when you get there !
she is a ruthless bi--h... a rich one !
How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
Emptiness on the inside
Leather on the outside, Pleather on the inside.
People may not recall, Barra was the DEI hire for GM following Wagner, that required a soft face to take on the fallout brunt, on behalf of the company when all the recalls were rolling in. Another man could not do this, and would not serve in this role without great fallout.
It's one of the sole reasons for her hire over Reuss. She wasn't special. She didn't accomplish much of anything in her career, she was just cycled from department to department until she suddenly became needed. At the latest stint while Wagner was still in charge, she was head of HR.
Fast forward all those years since, they put her female presence on a pedestal and idolized her, promoted her to no end. They elevated her to every news network the world over. At the end of the day, she's just as detrimental and useless as any of her predecessors, and possibly much more so. Not only under her watch did they knee cap ICE in favor for EV vehicles that just don't sell, she destroyed and neutered the once powerful GM logo in the process, to now display as one of the most impotent versions of GM logos in it's history. There's little pride in what's left.
But, we can all see clear as day, the every four or five year GM layoff plan is still in full swing, severing employee jobs and their livelihoods from the corporation. She learned this process well from those that came before her, maybe why they placed her head of human resources. Never will you become family at GM, it's just business. When your position is no longer needed, then goodbye.
Do you want to know why they continually push to bring in the younger hires every 4-5 year hire/fire cycle? Because most of them are ambitious and ready to do good work, unknowing about how this company and leadership works, and unknowing that in time, they too will also be placed on the GM replacement program. You see, you can't deceive the older employees often, but the younger folks just don't know - yet. But in time, they will.
Work for a paycheck, but don't break yourself for this corporation.
Big shocker. She’s pumping the stock to dump it when she bails. Self absorbed and narcissistic just like many CEOs. It’s over for the legacies. Times, products and processes have changed night and day. No time for evolutionary change. Sell as many cr-p 10 speed transmissions before it ends

I'm encouraging you to do something about your situation, so I'm a corporate bot?
Make it make sense.
I'll give it a stab: You don't have the intellect or creativity to do anything so you are lashing out. And that's okay. Bless your heart.
Ok corporate bot

What a cute way to box in folks.
If you agree with me you are good.
If you disagree with me you are bad.
Stop complaining.
Do something about it.

Money seems most attraction, I don’t know what else sticks her in the position.
WOW WOW WOW!! What an excellent article and exact portrayal of the current terrible situation in GM under the "Soulless" Mary Barra of General Motors, which I would not be surprised at all at all if she turns out to be the Sith.
