Has anyone who signed their lovely separation letter last week receive their pay yet?

Have not received yet. But I called HR to ask, they said 14 working days or 3 calendar weeks. So I am expecting may be around 12/6 - 12/8.

My last day was Oct. 25th (notified in August); I received my payout on Nov. 8th. If the cadence is the same, you should receive your payout this Friday (Nov. 29).

… I wish there was a class action lawsuit on how they get away with age discrimination. How can a company get away with this???

Easy. NC & CA are “at will” employment states where either party can terminate employment at any time for any reason.

Beginning w/ Regan, the GOP has worked to erode worker benefits & protections.

They can simply say you’re too expensive instead of you’re too old. Doesn’t matter that experience & higher wages come with age.

Just be glad they give us way more than the 60 days pay required.

I don’t want to, but I know fighting it is futile!!!! I can’t afford to fight it, and the company takes advantage of this. I wish there was a class action lawsuit on how they get away with age discrimination. How can a company get away with this???

Every internal job has AI attached to it, yet it’s in its infancy. No one knows how to monetize the buzz words. If you can talk AI from both sides of your mouth, you have a chance.

Can’t speak for the US or other regions but In the uk it got paid In the next pay cycle after signature. Pay is processed normally about 10 days before actual pay date, so if the signature missed the payroll processing date it’ll be in the next payroll… if that makes sense?
