Phillips 66 has been federally indicted for discharging waste water at its LA Refinery.
This is yet another black eye for P66.

Why was the McKinsey post deleted? Too much truth?

Elliot and the "consultants" are a direct consequence of upper management lacking the necessary skills and decision-making abilities to effectively run Phillips 66. These external entities have little regard for the employees who keep the company operational. Their primary focus is on serving the interests of shareholders.
Phillips 66 will pursue a corporate strategy centered on increased job outsourcing, refinery and plant closures, and the divestment of company assets.
Keep those resumes updated and your pennies saved!
The core values are a distant memory! They do not care about employees, and the attention to detail in planning projects has gone completely away. Problems exist for months that are simple just becuase we have let the people who can handle problems go. It is a real mess!
The recent lack of judgement, careful consideration of implication of our actions, and care to execute effectively are all tied to the decay of wanting to keep the best employees. There is no easy button to fix this, the id--ts at the top need to go.
All we have been waiting for is the “face plant” to show that management has taken things too far. I’d say the black eyes and face plants are coming fast now, and will continue. The only hope we have is more difficulty in the short term to let Elliot clean house and re-order.
There has undoubtedly been a seismic shift in the way this company operates, and it is not for the better. They no longer prioritize the best interests of their employees.
Incompetent CEO and new ELT who is more focused on making their mark than thinking about what is good for company .
Step back 5 years ago. It’s been imbedded with the culture and poor business planning.
Gogo.
Here’s a little Thanksgiving Day pop quiz.
Who or what is the common denominator for all the problems that have fallen on P66 in the last couple of years and particularly in the last few months?
This happened back in April, but the Borger Refinery had a big fire on a Cat Cr--ker with 2 injured employees.
What else could go wrong? Well, Wood River has a 30 ft crack in one of its coke drums after a fire and is currently operating on one pair. Management waived inspection of the drums last turnaround. Can’t wait to see who takes the blame for this disaster! Its last refinery manager is now in the glass castle a thousand miles away!
More Ozempic equals Less Wastewater. Think about it.
The Devil owns all energy companies. We work for It. Stop complaining and make a difference. Use your money earned to help humanity and look out for your fellow worker instead of competing with them. We all make the same wage…
We just need some ozempic and chill. Will elt approve on medical?
The IT organization at Phillips 66 is being dismantled, with valuable American jobs being outsourced to a foreign organization.
"Support for Infrastructure Operations will transition on December 2."
Those responsible for this decision should feel ashamed!
It’s time to update resumes . ELT lost touch of reality .
Now there’s been an explosion at a P66 plant in Goldsmith, Texas.
1 employee airlifted to the hospital.
I think, at times, that Phillips has engaged in age discrimination when laying off employees.
These 2 incidents will impact VCIP, no doubt. So pitiful salary increase and VCIP next year - no wonder I'm updating my resume.
A company that seems to have strayed far from its core values. Honor and Commitment have faded since BT and WEP, and now even Safety is being compromised with this nonsense! This is no longer the Phillips 66 that I used to know.
Hope the general manager and env manager don’t get incarcerated

;)
What makes these 2 incidents so bad is instead of being upfront about them, P66 tried to cover them up.
GO GO and ELT should be fired . Not sure what Elliott is doing

Guess we should have waited to WEP our legal department...
