Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Earnings for third quarter to be released Monday.... It's gonna be ugly

The quarter could be a loss. With sales tanking, warranty costs still rising and the cost of hourly labor, most analysts are expecting a blood bath.

Could a mass layoff be in the offing next week to try and offset the inevitable stock price crash? I fully expect a mass layoff by year's end. Timing be damned.

There are good reasons Tesla stock was up 22% today, while Ford gained 17 cents.

Then there is the cost of “acquiring” Canopy Security LLC
At least shutting that bad idea from the start down would reduce expenses, if anybody was fired. Was there any accountability or did they all get paycheck continuation programs at the expense of everyone else’s bonuses?
