Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

LET'S GO

Man I feel like I won the superbowl with the NO vote. We cannot give up our pensions. My wife has already left me for some scrub a couple weeks ago but I do not care. I am going on the online websites to take care of my needs. I am better off than before the strike.

I think we ALL need to stay strong. I also think we can get our pension back if we hold out another couple weeks. No way Boeing can keep this up. South Carolina can't support another airplane program. The facilities are small.

Continuing to hold out because of the stubborn demand to reinstate pensions is so delusional. Boeing has quickly become a dysfunctional company full of lackadaisical, incompetent monkeys being led by corrupt, selfish clowns. The overwhelming stench of greed and indifference to quality and safety permeates the entire organization. Doesn't matter that Boeing produces aircraft that crash and ki-l passengers or have doors that come apart in mid-flight, or launches untested spacecraft that strand astronauts in space for months on end. Instead, higher stock value, ever-increasing compensation, generous bonuses, and lucrative severance payouts (for execs) are much more important objectives. Oh yes, and don't forget the pension!

The outside company that Boeing hired to post this dribble is not very believable. They should ask for a refund.

Boeing workers mismange their finances just as bad as boeing. Atleast boeing knows how to do math

Boeing workers are better than the average worker thats why we are holding out for the 40% plus the pension. We deserve $130k for just mearly driving a forklift. I can wait as long as it takes.

Pensions are now called (and have been for a few decades) 401k's.

It is plain to see that the failure is management’s fault.
