Do RSUs vest during notice period?

I am planning to resign, but have RSUs vesting soon. Will they still vest during the notice period? Below is the guidance from CEC, but this is unclear to me.

Note: You must be active through the vesting date for any shares to vest. The next vest will not occur if you terminate effective prior to the actual vesting date.

Suppose you go on some sorr of leave and come back the day before they vest. Will you get them despite not serving the time?

They continue to vest until you are no longer an employee. That said, your manager may simply walk you out the door when you give your notice, so I'd wait until the money is in the bank, and say nothing to anyone.

Wait until you the cash in your bank account. They can terminate you on the spot and pay out "two weeks in lieu", especially if they think you are going to a competitor, and bye bye RSu payment. If you go on certain types of extended leave, such as stress/mentalhealth, vesting pauses. If this is a large chunk of cash, wait until it's in your hands, or negotiate a signing bonus with your new employer if you're feeling strong.

When you ask this question you know there is a chance employment can be terminated at will anytime. How much is your RSU? Couple thousands? And you need to go to OpenAI? Resign right away! However, if your RSU is last 12 months and bigger than your 1 month paycheck, you are young but not that young please do not be naive… I seen employee got terminated right on the same day he resigned.

Wait till the next RSU date and give your 2 week notice before that.

The day they vest you pay taxes and they are yours for the most part. Options from 3 years ago you have to execute or I think those will drop, even if vested.

yeah you would be a fool to think they aren't aware of exactly what is vesting and when, on a per employee basis. I'm not saying that they would definitely change your separation date to sc--w you out of RSU vests but why would you take the chance? any reasonable new employer would understand if you needed to move your start date.

My understanding is that are still an active employee through your notice period, but they could tell you to kick rocks before that vesting date once you give notice. Given that we are so close to the vesting cliff, it's best to not chance things and wait it out.
