Read the fine print. It’s an “advisory” vote, meaning they take it into consideration, but your vote does not change the outcome just because thousands vote “no”. They are going to do what they want anyway

Maybe if ELT knew what they were doing with strategy over the last 10 years we wouldn’t be such a shithole situation with the company.

Give me the name of someone who has a proven track record taking a top 20 tech company in collapse and returning it to significant growth who would take the job.

The die was cast 30 years ago when Cisco gave up on development in favor of acquisition. They did need the early acquisitions, but Cisco also needed to build a competent development organization to avoid not only tens of billions spent on bug fixing but a significant fraction of the far more than $100B spent on acquisitions over that time. In the old days acquiring a kid with a 68000, a soldering iron and a relatively small amount of code was easy to integrate. Integrating multi-billion dollar software companies is at an entirely different level and without development experience from Cisco's side integration has proven more than challenging.

Knowing what Cisco was in 2015 I was convinced even then it was irredeemable, and the fact that Chuck managed one last gasp by doubling the stock price in a few years was actually extremely impressive.

After all the years here of people saying "this layoff is it! Everyone is going to quit! That'll learn 'em!" you're now trying to get 10 voting shares to say "remove Chuck?"

Here's an idea: make products that work.

Should still vote. This ELT is garbage and needs a message - even if we do get outvoted by large funds.

While you absolutely should participate in shareholder voting... Unless you have 10s of thousands of shares the institutional shareholder voter will out weight all of us.. every, single, time. This is done by design.

MAYBE if enough "no"s happen it will send a message and the board will pay attention, but no way are we going to be able to vote in a change.

Send in your vote to ensure those in Chuxks direct reporting don’t get another enhanced compensation package.

They keep taking off with more stocks and we get none year in year out.

Shareholders, employees holding espp, ray, options Make ELT feel the pinch. Vote

meh with the layoff-induced stock bump he is fine for now

anyone who actually cares about real gains on their shares hasn't owned CSCO for years anyway

when CSCO inevitably drifts into the 40s again, pressure will be on CR...
