I think it really depends on what your current pay is. Percent is meaningless. If you're pulling 200k/y +5% is exactly the same as +10% at 100k/y (not including taxes). I imagine they aren't handing out 10% raises to people up in the 250k+ catagory, considering how much that would be.
That's just a guess though.
Whether you get a bump in bonus depends on which grades you move from and to. It doesn’t change every grade.
Wait they printed you to the next grade and only raised your base 5%? That’s horrible. Lol
Cisco was one of the original companies to do dry promotions (promotions with no pay increase at all.)
I got 45K in RSU and no base increase. Is that bad? Top performer.

I went from a grade 6 to a 7 and got a 6% increase. No increase on bonus
Did you ask where you stand in your new grade ?
You got a promotion which comes w/ a higher bonus percentage, a 5% raise, and RSU's?
Nice. Most of us get a pay raise, maybe with a promotion, OR RSU's. Not all 3. Glad to see there's someone out there with a bigger target on their back for the next LR than the one on my back.
You only get a few percent for a grade bump once you get up a bit in grades.
After a huge LR and a year of number misses and you are crying about a 5% raise and options that vest fully in 3 years?? Please quit or fire yourself. You also got a bump on your bonus too by changing grades. Seriously, we all would like more $ in the wallet, most decent managers wish they had more to give but damn. You want to be on the next list or be where a manager finds that extra $ at bonus time to give to someone else? Have a conversation with your boss and back the check your mouth writes. Or you could be thankful. There's always that too.
