Incase we get laid off, does that mean we can not be rehired in Cisco?

I'd need to be utterly desperate to go back to that vendor...
If you do go back at least focus on your own skill-sets with open-eyes, as nothing with Cisco on it is worth anything anymore...
One example of this person: JD
It takes VP or higher approval to come back before the 6 month moratorium has expired. It's rare to come back in less than 6 months. I think you can come back as a contractor though, and you don't have to wait or give back any of the severance package.
You have to wait 6 months to be rehired
of course, Cisco has many "boomerang" employees! some of them are even key execs!
this is how it works: you coast along for a decade at Cisco and somehow luck your way into a new position...you fail because outside of Cisco, people actually demand results...then you find your way back to your hammock at Cisco and end out your days
You can. Policy was that if this happen within 6M you need to give back the package (or part od it). If this is after 6M, you are good :)
The post of a person who’s a glutton for pain and punishment.
If you get laid off, you can read about it in the FAQ.
Would you go back to a girl who dumped you ?
