Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Good luck to UK colleagues next week

And good luck to us on the US-side. Media is reporting ‘thousands’ to be impacted next round. Any fresh information as to which areas in particular may be targeted?

Don’t listen to trolls nothing whatsoever decided about future rounds.

It's been decided for some time that $200M-$300M is locked and loaded for the next round, and as others have pointed out, much of the European continent has more worker protections so it just takes longer for this first round to hit them.

Just because "no one expects the Spanish Inquisition" is no reason to believe Cisco will stop doing layoffs after more than 23 years of doing layoffs.

They aren’t talking about new rounds they are talking about this round; it’s not done yet
