Better HR to fix bad UX

I believe we need to improve our hiring process to ensure we’re selecting candidates who truly meet our standards. It seems that we’ve recently brought on individuals whose skills and past performance don’t align with our needs. For example, our current UX lead had significant challenges in her previous role and was almost fired (Fiserv), yet this wasn’t identified during our pre-screening process. How can we refine our vetting criteria to avoid these issues and attract candidates who are better suited to drive our team forward?
