Managers were probably aware in September after talent assessments
I would think they all had to sign NDAs and wait for the local legal requirements to be fulfilled
Do managers already know who in their team is out?? Or why are we made to wait for a further 2 weeks?
Would any lurkers who got hit by the last round share what the redundancy pay is like?
SE’s and Lead distinguished engineers are on the list … look out boys not sure many women can do the job.

Yeah I know about the consultancy period, I'm at Cisco UK. The question is why the consultancy period is already over but they're still waiting the best part of another month to tell anyone about what they must have already decided.

The consultation committee likely took time to form, then the formal consultation period is typically 1 month
Does anybody know why they're delaying things until November when they've known they were doing layoffs since August? It's not like they haven't had enough time to know who they're letting go.
Hearing it’s between 15% to 20%. Not sure if that’s the truth but doubt the main culprits , the upper Sales and SE management , will get touched. As usual the people who do most of the work and bring business will get affected while the ones that post self glorifying fake news on LinkedIn will be protected if not promoted.

True. But the SE Supreme Leader will continue his reign. Change may not be the only constant after all. The SE Supremo is the other constant, always ready with his patronising speeches and gaslighting demeanour. And post LinkedIn photos glorifying himself at public forums with celebrities.
I am ready to get the boot. I have had enough here and have a job lined up already at a competitor’s. I can’t tolerate another one of his WebEx session full of b0ll0cking and untruthful rubbish . Where do they find these con artists at Cisco in directorial ranks is a mystery .
