They are paying out PTO now to lessen severance packages later. I put my PTO payout $$ on another round of LRs in 6mo.

Anyway no work for blue badges and all work done by red badges funded by Cisco filthy money. It is another experiment to remove dependency on blue badge and eventually ask them to take permanent PTO :)

Those with laidback managers, will misuse the system to crack up on PTO. Those with lousy managers will just avoid taking so not to risk being in next LR. Cisco created a monster of policies where each one for themselves. Unlimited PTO is not non-stop time offs, though it gives that impression. It is probably the worse HR policy to sc--w employees which will lead to more stress, bigger mental health issues and burn offs. One time drag on their earning books, and stocks boost.

Dregs never reported PTO while working 25 hours a week. Then people take a week or two right when they get the check. Don't think a manager doesn't notice that. Tells me you we sc--wing off like about 75% of the other remote workers. Good thing is now you will get found out and fired, not LRd next round. I think over the next 2-3 years they will cut services and farm it out to the partner community - all totally incompetent. Then they can spin off things like SAN and UCS and get rid of them. Before I thought csco was becoming dec and 3com all over. Nope, it's more like a bell and howell collapse. csco will ultimately be the temu of IT. Heck, that's where they got the leadership team.
