My department is seeing indicators that there will most likely be some RIFs. Does anyone know if a round of RIFs will occur before the end of FY25?

I mean we are just doing paper work here. No real innovation. Why not lay us off?

Geoff and his buddies want to get rid of people with the higher salaries and replace them with new employees willing to work for lower wages. It’s the great salary reset.
Looks like there will be mid year layoffs. As a director myself, I was told to mark my sacrificial lambs today.
With Geoff and co, you guarantee they will. They will lay people off to cover up the fact that they are clueless.
There are layoffs every single year and even every month. Most of them you don't notice. There is literally a group in Employee Relations that dedicates their whole work to layoffs... they have a stupid name to do with 'transformation' or some sh-t. I could give you some names, or you could just look through the org charts.
