An advice to everyone on here. Update your resumes and get the heck out of this place. Even if you survive the layoffs, there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. The leadership lacks vision, the company is struggling to compete with the likes of Netflixes and Disneys of the world, and there is just not enough focus on streaming. If you think the current situation is bad, 2025 will be even worse. Pack your bags and Leave!!!!

Did David Ellison tell you his plan? How can you be so sure? I guess if your on the list to be fired, it won’t matter.
Also, yes, the new owners have a lot of money, but money doesn't buy good leaders or a good work environment, as we've all witnessed.
I agree that the new owner's vision will be an improvement over the current utter mess. However, what will this new vision entail? Will it involve you and your team? If the bad leadership remains, the situation could remain bad for certain teams for the unforeseen future.
