IBM has enough attorneys on Long Island to know the laws of every state on reporting layoffs. They stay below that number in each state. i.e. 100 in each state = 5000.
I think the most important point is hiding it well in the news but what really matters is more but(secks) and then how it all gets exposed.
Eventually the truth will cone out. And it will come hard.
that's because IBM is doing their usual amazing job of leveraging their position to keep information close to the vest...
